About Nawrna
The Nawrna program is an educational program aimed at providing knowledge and skills in the field of Science and technology using STEM methodology and modern educational strategies .. The program currently targets students in the age range from 10 years to 14 years
During the years 2023 and 2024, we were able to reach a number of areas that lack the quality of educational services, for example, the village of Oulad Yahya in Sohag governorate, the village of Al-baharwa in al-Ayat city, the village of Al-ghazawiya in kalyubiya governorate, Kafr Oulad Nafi in Sharqiya governorate, and a number of areas such as Dokki region, Faisal and 6 October City .
The number of courses that were implemented during that period reached 30 different educational courses in the fields of Science and technology, including courses (programming-mathematics and Engineering-Science-Computer)
The total number of training hours was estimated at about 1000 training hours for children in the age stages from 10 to 14 years, and the total number of students benefited more than 250 students in different academic and age stages.
The program has been implemented in a number of governorates of the Republic (Cairo-Giza-Qalyubia-Sohag-Sharqiya ) and in partnership with a number of national institutions that share our interest in children's education, such as: Resala Charity Association, maniha Educational Foundation, Fard Foundation, INNOSPACE Academy for youth rehabilitation and a number of non-governmental associations such as the association for development and care Al-Safa Charity Association in Kafr Awlad Nafi, Sharqiya governorate .
In a related context, the first season of the noorna scientific competition was implemented, which was launched in June 2024, and the qualifiers lasted for 60 days and won good popularity in its first season, and a large number of students participated in it, and it is expected that more contestants will participate in the next season in the primary and preparatory stages.
The program aims to reach more regions and governorates in the coming period, and it is expected that we will reach double these numbers by the end of 2024 .
